If you have a single missing tooth and the neighboring teeth are
healthy, the Dentist would like to avoid damaging the surrounding teeth
to hold a bridge above the gap.
You do not have any of your own strong tooth roots left to hold crowns
or bridges, but you would like to fill the gap of a missing tooth.
If you have a denture and you are unhappy with it because it is loose
and uncomfortable the Dentist can:
a) Build a new bridges on implantations, this is a permanent but more
expensive solution.
b) If you are fed up with your loose Dentures.
Dentures on implants is the cheapest option as not as many implants
will be required to hold the denture, this will make the teeth feel natural
as the denture is clicked on the implants rather than sitting on the jaw. |
